Two beautiful works by a treasured early Rhode Island artist. George Arthur Hays was one of the early group of Providence artists. A self-taught artist, he is known for his landscapes with cows. Hays was active in the Providence Art Club, the Copley Society, the Society of Independent Artists, and the Providence Watercolor Club.
