Three outstanding post-impressionist watercolors. Mohrein was born in Paris in 1870. For many years he had a studio in the 3rd Arrondisement of Paris on rue St. Gilles.  He was elected a member of the Societe des Artistes Independants, and from 1906 exhibited regularly at their annual exhibitions, shwoing oils and watercolrs.  In 1934 he participated in the Salon at the Grand Palais, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Societe des Artistes Independants.  He also exhibited in Lyon at the Salon d'Automne. He is listed in Benezit.
