A charming still life by a multi-talented multi-media artist. Along with being a noteworthy painter, Hill was also a talented musician, composer and an Academy Award winning film maker. His works are in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art and the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Hill earned his bachelor's degree at Yale, then studied at the British Academy in Rome and the Scandinavian Academy of Art in Paris. His exhibitions include the Society of Independent Artist and the Pennsylvania Academy. During the 1960's and 1970's he exhibited at the Babcock Galleries in New York City.
