Lovely floral in natural setting. Listed in Who Was Who in American Art, Emily Poucher lived in Bronxville, New York. She was a student of Hobart Nichols. Poucher painted in Europe and also throughout New York and New England. She exhibited at the New York World's Fair in 1940, the National Association of Women Artists, the Boston Society of Independent Artists, the National Academy of Women Painters and Sculptors in the 1930's, and the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, New Hampshire.
